The Team

  • Claude Busuttil, director and chief architect at ARCstudio Ltd. He is also a part-time assistant lecturer at the International Institute for Baroque Studies at the University of Malta. He obtained a Bachelors and Masters Degree in History of Architecture and Restoration of Monuments from the University of Florence (Italy) in 1998. He has previously worked on restoration and conservation projects, interior design and project management for government, ecclesiastical and private entities. He is currently reading for a doctorate in Modern and Contemporary History at the University of Rouen, France. As Chevalier dans l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres official recognition given by the Ministry of Culture and Communication of the French Republic presented on 14th July 2009.

  • Ivan Giordano graduated in Architecture and Civil Engineering (Hons.) from the University of Malta in 2013. In 2015, Ivan obtained an M.Sc in Conservation Technology for Masonry Buildings at the Department of the Built Heritage, Faculty for the Built Environment at the University of Malta. He attained the warrant of Architect and Civil Engineer (Perit) in 2015.

  • Nison Santanera, read a Bachelor’s degree in architecture (Architettura per il Progetto) from the Politecnico di Torino in 2013.  He obtained a Master’s degree in Architecture in 2015, specializing in spatial planning of buildings and construction technology (Architettura Costruzione Città) at the same University.  Prior to his employment at ARCstudio, Nison worked with a private architectural firm in Italy, dealing with architectural design and interior.  In 2016, he participated and won a regional competition to carry out an internship abroad, which led him to ARCstudio Ltd.

  • Marley German successfully concluded his Bachelor of Science (Hons) In Construction Engineering at the Malta College for Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST) in 2017. He also possesses the Journeyman’s Certificate in Civil Engineering. He plays a key role within the firm, by providing project costings for the projects undertaken by the firm.

  • Mirhea Cutajar, successfully concluded her BTEC Extended Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment at the University College at MCAST.  She is currently reading a BSc (Hons) in Construction Engineering at the Institute of Engineering and Transport within University College (MCAST).  She plays a key role within the firm, whilst keeping an eye on most of the projects Mirhea provides technical assistance to all at the firm. Mirhea is well read with all the PA policies and makes it her duty to update herself with the latest legal notices.
